Fees for our dogs/puppies are as follows: $250 for puppies and dogs under 5 years old, $200 for dogs 5 years old and older.

There is a contract that you will need to sign in order to adopt a pet from us.

There is an adoption application that you can fill out to let us know what kind of dog/puppy that you are looking for.

If you are looking to adopt and are not sure yet what kind of dog is right for you please feel free to send me an email and ask for an adoption application to be sent to you. We will try our best to match you with the perfect pet for your lifestyle based on your answers on the adoption application.

Precious Paws Rescue works hard to save as many animals as we can from shelters in the tri-state area. We believe that every dog/puppy is special and desrves a warm and loving home.

Robyn Reo, founder of Precious Paws Rescue, has been saving animals from the street since she was a young girl.
Her love of animals has led her to expand her rescuing to neighboring shelters as well as shelters out of state.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
