Wisconsin, Illinios, Minnesota. We recently have also started to take dogs from Southern states, many are from commercial breeders and need a while to adjust. We are always in need of good foster homes to work with these guys, socializing and housetraining.

About Our Rescue Group:

Wisconsin Cocker Rescue takes in cockers from local shelters and private surrenders. We try to match the dog to the right family .
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductilble.

Come Meet our Pets:

After completing an application and you are approved we will set up a home visit with the dog. We try our best to place the right dog with it's new family. We also do adoption events throughout the year, and several pet fairs in Wisconsin where you can meet some of the adoptable dogs.

We now require a $10.00 processing fee for applications which can be paid by Pay Pal or mailed to us. Contact us for the mailing address.
The application processing fee does not guarantee a dog.
We are all volunteers and work full time, so will get your references checked as soon as possible.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
