Purebred Pals is a rescue organization comprised of volunteers who have been involved in animal rescue and welfare for over 22 years. Purebred Pals does not have a physical shelter location, we rely on our wonderful foster care givers to provide loving homes for our pets while they await their new families. We focus primarly upon the Purebred dog and cat, however we will on occasion accept a mixed breed pet into our program depending upon our availability. We hope to provide a fulfiling experience to our foster pets as well as the community.

Our process begins when someone makes an inquiry about one of our pets either by emailng us at admin@purebredpals.com, calling us at 585-226-1515 or launching an inquiry from an online adoption site. We will send you an application and once your information has been submitted, we will begin to process your application within 48-72 hours, not including holidays.
No pet may be adopted from our agency until a home visit and reference check has been performed. Once the proper paperwork has been completed, we will bring the pet to you for our meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption takes place. If you do not live in the Rochester, NY area, it is almost impossible for us to provide rescue services to you. If you have your heart set on one of our pets, and you live outside our zone, please find a local organization to provide your required homevisit for you. If you find an organization to provide your home visit, please include their contact information with your application.
We are completely self funded through donations and small fund raising activities. A suggested donation between $100 - $300 is asked for each adoptable pet.
