Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
.Long Island and New YorkAbout Our Rescue Group:
We are an all-volunteer network of students, staff, and faculty on the Stony Brook University campus who care for and rescue campus cats. We have no formal facilities, and all food, medical costs, and supplies are paid for by donations.SBU DOES NOT TAKE IN CATS FROM THE OUTSIDE COMMUNITY. WE ARE ONLY RESCUING THE STRAY AND FERAL CATS WE FIND ON CAMPUS.
Come Meet our Pets:
Since the cats are all fostered in the homes of network members (and so get lots of love and attention!), you would need to make an appointment to meet a prospective pet.Our Adoption Process:
Donation of $100 is requested to defray costs of testing, spay/neutering, and vaccinations.Adopters must sign a commitment to properly care for the adopted pet.
