We take in homeless pets and owner surrenders from Lauderdale County. We enforce the City of Florence's animal ordinances and we assist law enforcement in their efforts to investigate animal abuse and neglect.

About Our Shelter:

Our volunteer group, SAViA Shelter Animal Volunteers in Action, provides daily pet care and socialization to the shelter pets. If you would like to share your time, love and dedication to the shelter pets, we would love to have you join our team! Come Meet our Pets:

Our shelter hours are: Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-12:00 Noon and 1:30 PM-5:00 PM. We also have puppies and kittens available for adoption at Pet Depot in Florence and kittens and cats available for adoption at Petco in Florence.

Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption fee is $75.00 which includes rabies vaccination and sterilization surgery.
