All Creatures Animal Caring Society
About Our Rescue Group
We are a non-profit, ALL-VOLUNTEER rescue and animal welfare organization founded in 1995. We place mostly dogs and mostly those from shelters. We try to help individuals who need to re-home their animals by providing a 'packet of information' which allows THEM to do what WE DO and offering them multiple suggestions for re-homing the animal. I am the founder of All Creatures and I do it because of my FUNKTIONLUST --- I do best what I love and I love all animals.
Come Meet our Pets
Prospective adopters MUST complete an application found on our website prior to meeting any of our listed animals. www.allcreaturesmarin.org
We do not do 'on-site' adoptions. We do fewer adoptions and they take longer, but we introduce those people and dogs who seem most like a 'match to us.
When we believe we have a match, we call the applicant to set up an appointment at our own "doggy yard", a 1/2 acre, fully fenced yard.
Our Adoption Process
We have an adoption contract (shown on our web site). Our fees vary, but the most common is: $ 225 for each dog and includes spay or neuter, rabies and DAP or DHLPP vaccinations. Some adoption fees can be as high as @ $250 and some as low as $ 125. If a dog has to be in boarding, our costs are usually even greater than $225.
We admit to being pretty fussy.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
