We ask that all potential adopters complete and application form on our website www.nnedr.org. We then check two personal and one vet reference before we set up a meeting with the dog. If it seems like we have a good match for the dog we will set up a time for the adopter to meet the dog and his/her foster family. The adopter will be able to ask alot of questions, take the dog for a walk give the dog treats etc... We then will ask that you take a couple of days to think about whether or not you would like the dog to join your family. We will consider all possible adopters and ultimately place the dog in the home we feel is best for the dog. At the time of adoption the adopter will be asked to sign a contract and pay the adoption fee. Our standard adoption fee is $250. We follow up with adopters after a few days to see how things are going and we have an alumni website where people post their stories and pictures so we can keep up with our rescue families.
