Last Chance Ranch is a non-profit Animal Rescue located in Southeast Pennsylvania serving the tri-state area and beyond. We do not ship pets and require a visit with your chosen pet before placement.

About Our Rescue Group:

Last Chance Ranch has been in operation for over twenty years. In the Fall 2000 we asked the public for assistance and applied for our non-profit 501(c)3 status."LCR" rescues the old, the young, the injured, neglected, malnourished, abused, and forgotten. We accept all breeds: horses, ponies, drafts, donkeys, and mules and companion animals.
Recently Last Chance Ranch joined the ranks of small animal rescue to save at least a few of these "kill shelter" pets from such an undignified ending to their lives. With the acquisition of an additional 25 acres, LCR has completed construction of a new kennel to house pets that are awaiting their forever families. This will also allow Last Chance Ranch to house small animals in emergency or humane seizure situations.
LCR is available for Humane Law Enforcement and Animal Cruelty Investigations.

Adoption Fees for Dogs/Puppies
Our fees range from $175 to $350 depending on medical procedures provided for this pet and are nonrefundable.
The fee includes all necessary vaccines including DHPP+, Rabies, Bordetella, and the new Canine Influenza vaccine.
These dogs are Heartworm/Lymes/Erlicha/AP tested, have received multiple wormers, heartworm prevention, Frontline/Advantage, and are microchipped.

This pet may have received other medical procedures, testing, surgeries, grooming that will necessitate a higher fee to cover these procedures.
You will be provided with all medical records and certificates, informative DVD, leash, collar, starter packet of information. Your pre-paid microchip information will be provided after 30 days.
While we hope all our dogs find their exact forever home the first time they get placed, sometimes it just doesn't work out. Even after 6 months or 6 years, we are still here for you if you would ever need a home or help with your adopted pet. We also offer a lifetime of support and advice and training visits if necessary to help you work through any issues with your new adopted pet and your family.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
