Bombshell Bullies Pit Bull Rescue
About Our Rescue Group
The mission of Bombshell Bullies is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs identified primarily as American Pit Bull Terriers and American Staffordshire Terriers. Our goal is to place these adoptable dogs in their safe and loving forever homes.

We also educate the public by providing information on the prevention of abuse and neglect associated with these bully breeds. In addition, we will help reduce the number of abused, neglected, relinquished and abandoned pit bulls.

Come Meet our Pets
We will be attending The Great American Pet Expo this weekend, Nov. 14th and 15th, at Navy Pier in Chicago. Come meet our adoptable bullies between 9 am and 8 pm on Saturday, and 9 am and 6 pm on Sunday. For more details, go here: http://www.americanpetexpo.com/index.htm

Our Adoption Process
Our adoption process is as follows: First, the applicant must fill out an application. After the application is reviewed by the rescue, the applicant will be called to go over the application and all references will be called. If the phone interview and references clear, a home visit and dog introduction will be scheduled. If all goes well, the dog will be placed. The first few weeks of having the dog will be a foster period to make sure the dog is a good fit for you and your family. If after the foster period you decide you'd like to adopt, adoption papers can be completed. If you decide this dog is not a good fit, the dog comes back to rescue and we can possibly look for a dog that would be a better match. The fee for puppies (6 months and younger) is $300 and the fee for adult dogs is $250. This fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter, complete vaccinations, microchip, and heartworm test. We will not place any dog in a multiple dog household, or where there is already a dog of the same sex. No dogs will be placed in the state of OHIO.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
