Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:We serve Augusta, Martinez, North Augusta, and the surrounding CSRA region.
About Our Rescue Group:We are a 501(c) 3 non profit organization made up of volunteers who believe that every pet deserves a loving home. We run a low cost spay neuter clinic for the entire area, in an effort to reduce (and eventually end) pet overpopulation. We are passionate about the lives we save, and work hard to make a difference. Currently we rescue from 12 high kill shelters across the state, as well as take in owner surrenders, unwanted, neglected, abused, injured, and abandonned animals. We assist the military who are being deployed by housing or rehoming their pets. Our goal is to provide a loving environment, training, and care for the animals for the rest of their lives, whether in our foster care program or with their forever families.
Come Meet our Pets:Our pets can be seen at PetSmart on Robert C Daniel Parkway in Augusta GA. We are there every Saturday and 11 - 4 PM. December - February Heartsong is happy to have the PetSmart PetCenter where our cats and kittens are on display and can be adopted all week long during store hours. We do have adoption events. Check our website for updates.
Our Adoption Process:We spay /neuter all of our pets. The dogs are vaccinated (age appropriate) micro chipped, socialized and have some basic training. The adoption fee on dogs and puppies is $125.00.
We vaccinate (age appropriate) our cats, deworm, litter box train, and combo test all adult cats. The adoption fee for our cats and kittens is $85.00.
Adoption applications can be filled out at PetCo. We are also at PetSmart every Saturday from 11 - 4PM and at PetCo most Sundays in Mullins Crossing, from 12 AM to 3 PM. Potential adopters can come and meet and play with our pets.
