Save A Dog, Inc
About Our Rescue Group
We are an animal rescue started because of our love for animals. Everyone in our organization is a volunteer. We do not have a paid staff. Most of us work , have families and volunteer our spare time to help save a dog.
Come Meet our Pets
We do not have a facility all of our dogs live in foster homes. So for the safety of our volunteers only approved applicants will be able to make an appointment to meet one of our babies.
Our Adoption Process
An application must be completed to be considered for adoption. Once received, reviewed and verified the applicant will be contacted. Approved applicants will be given to opportunity to setup an appointment to meet our furbaby. All approved applicants are considered equal and appointments are setup on a first come first serve basis. Unless noted otherwise all the dogs listed are ready to go to their new homes, so once we all meet if everyone is happy the dog will be a good fit, he/she will be able to go home with you. Each dog's adoption donation is listed on their page and is due at the time of adoption. Any dog not altered at the time of adoption will go home on a spay neuter contract and deposit of $100.00 Once proof of alteration has been submitted the deposit will be refunded. An adoption contract is also required. We have the right to refuse anyone a dog, for any reason.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
