COVID-19 UPDATE:

Cats and kittens are being adopted out during the COVID-19 outbreak. Procedures for adoption are temporarily changed.

1. If you are interested in a kitten or cat, please contact us via email, text or phone call with any questions regarding the pet. We will respond and answer any and all questions and provide information about the pet.

2. An application must be completed to move on to the next step. Please ask for one and it will be emailed to you.

3. The application is reviewed and if it seems you may be a purrfect match for kitty, you may take the kitty home for an overnight or longer trial period as agreed upon. This will be done by curbside pickup or drop off. Kitty will be placed in a newly disinfected carrier and either delivered to the prospective adopters home or the prospective adopter can pick up curbside. In certain circumstances, meet and greets with you and kitty can be arranged at the local Pet Supplies Plus on Northlake Blvd. 33403, as usual.

4. If you decide to adopt the cat or kitten, a contract must be signed and the adoption fee paid. This step can be completed by emailing the signed contract and paying the adoption fee via paypal, or sending in the contract and fee through U.S. mail or by curbside pick up.

5. If it's not a good match for you and kitty, kitty can be returned by curbside drop off or pickup.

These steps are in place to continue to place loving cats and kittens in loving homes during the COVID-19 outbreak while keeping with social distancing protocols.

Please consider adopting a cat or kitten today.

About Cecilia's Cat Rescue

Small foster based self-funded rescue. Cats and kittens are in foster homes where they receive socialization, love and care while awaiting their forever homes. We do everything possible to match them into a compatible home.

The cats are spayed / neutered up to date on vaccinations. Medical needs are met. These are wonderful, loving animals in need of good homes. They would be grateful to be loved by a permanent pet parent - and family! Kitties are seen by appointment. - just e-mail or text!

We do what we do because nothing makes us happier than to see a cat in need go from homeless and helpless to being loved forever.

We are currently not accepting cats into the rescue program due to space requirements. We are currently adopting out cats from my rescue program. All cats and kittens are in foster homes.

Adopt a Pet is the easiest way for you to search for a new pet in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
