Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

Divine Felines is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping cats and kittens find the purrfect home. We try to help cats and people all over Rockland County and Orange County.

About Our Rescue Group:

We at Divine Felines love helping cats and people. Cats are rehomed or they can stay here to live out their life. Cats are not euthanized unless they are truly suffering and beyond help. We have done many difficult and sometimes dangerous rescues in situations where no one else would help. We also have a few handicapped kitties that no one wanted.

Come Meet our Pets:

You can schedule an appointment to come visit us. We were the In Store Adoption Partner at PetsMart in Monroe, NY from February of 2009-March of 2013. We adopted out almost 500 cats and kittens. Due to a change in location we do not have any adoption events planned.

Our Adoption Process:

To adopt one of our needy cats or kittens you can come to us or we can come to you. We require that you fill out an application and provide us with a veterinary reference. Upon approval we can bring your new family member to you. At that time we would be assessing the environment that your new family member will be joining. There is an adoption fee which varies depending on age.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
