About Our Shelter:

The City of Burleson Animal Services Division provides animal care and control services for residents living within the city limits of Burleson and animal adoption services to the greater Burleson community.

Come Meet our Pets:

we are open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 11:00a to 6:00p, Saturday from 11:00a to 4:00p.

Our Adoption Process:

application, adoption contract agreeing to spay/nueter within 14 days of adoption or 6 months of age, and required to rabies vaccinate within 10 days of adoption or 4 months of age. We provide microchip, 1st set of immunization, heartworm test or feline lukemia test, rabies voucher if animal is old enough, and an adoption packet of educational information, food, leash and toys. The adoption fee is 65.00.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
