About Our Shelter
Animal Services and Assistance Programs, Inc. is
We are a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, charitable organization providing, free of charge, food, supplies, programs and services to animal welfare organizations across the United States. Over 500,000 pounds of dog and cat food has made its way to over 300 shelters and rescues to help feed more than 30,000 dogs and cats The cats we have listed are part of our Trap-Neuter-Return Program, and were once owned and abandoned. They live in a home environment and we can help you select one that best suits your lifestyle. All of the cats get along great with other cats and most do well with dogs and children. Our cats and kittens are housed in a home environment and we ask that you call to schedule an appointment to come and spend some time selecting your new family member.

Our goal is to find permanent homes for our cats and an adoption fee is not a requirement but a donation is welcome. We also recognize the important role that animals play in the lives of their owners and the wonderful homes the senior community can provide for our aging adoptable animals. We provide cats, free of charge to senior citizens and welcome them back should there come a time when they are no longer able to care for them.
Our Barn Cat Program, provides free of charge, cats to approved barns. Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group. |
