HC Friends for Life is a network of volunteers. We take the dogs and cats abandoned at Animal Control, foster them, and get them adopted through weekly Wednesday Pet Adoptions at the Boone Mall (11:30-4:30) and Saturday Pet Adoptions (11 am - 5 pm) at Lowe's Hardware in Boone, NC. Our adoption fee is currently $60.00. We desperately need donations to cover veterinary costs. Crates are also needed as we loan them to our fosters. Many of the dogs and cats we help are in poor health. We are an approved non profit tax deductible organization.
