First the application must be completed and approved, the applicant must also have a vet consent form signed. In some cases a home visit is required. The applicant must have all the supplies before adopting the chinchilla. The adoption fee ranges depending on age/health of the animal and starts at $75. A contract must be signed at the end of the process.
