2. We contact you for a brief telephone interview
3. We arrange for you to meet the dog
4. Complete the adoption application
5. We check your references and arrange a home visit
6. Sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee for $200 for dogs under the age of 10, or $100 for dogs 10 and older.

We work with shelters and rescue groups, not just in the Pacific Northwest, but around the country. We bring them into our homes, and give them the loving care they deserve. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
