Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:Madison, WI
About Our Rescue Group:We are a small group of volunteers spread throughout the United States (and even a couple in Canada) who are dedicated to advocating for blind and visually impaired dogs by rescuing dogs in shelters, helping blind dog owners, and educating the public. We formed in 2009, though our members have many years of experience in rescue, and in blind dogs.
Our Adoption Process:Interested in adopting a BDRA Dog? Simply fill out our application. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered,
up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick preventive.
We ask a $250 adoption fee. This does not begin to cover the vetwork we do on our dogs, which is why
we are always fundraising!
Keep in mind that Blind Dog Rescue Alliance will transport dogs to their potential adopters. So do not let distance discourage you.
The Board of Directors has voted to prohibit the use of Invisible/Electronic fences on Blind Dog Rescue Alliance dogs. This policy will be effective immediately.
