Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We serve the cities, towns, townships and counties that are in and around the Lehigh Valley in Eastern Central Pennsylvania.
The Sanctuary at Haafsville is an organization that grew out of a group of successful individuals who wanted to better the welfare of animals in the Lehigh Valley. We were blessed with a donation of 8 acres of land and are in the process of designing and building a sanctuary that will be animal based, human services oriented and environmentally sound. We hope to have our first building up by the fall of 2011. In the meantime, we have foster programs beginning.

Come Meet our Pets:
We will be participating in adoption events throughout the Lehigh Valley, doing adoption days at local pet stores, and have pets availalbe to be seen at foster homes.
Our Adoption Process:
Once an adopter meets a cat or dog that they have fallen in love with and it is mutual, an application is required. Sometimes the adoption will occur the same day, but sometimes it can not due to insufficient information or the need to do more reference connections. Adoption fees for cats are $75, including neuter/spay, unless you are a senior and they you qualify for our senior for senior program. Seniors give a good will offering that they are comfortable with, for both cats and dogs. Dog adoption fees are $150 for adults, who are all neutered, and $180 for puppies, and there is a $50 spay/neuter deposit required for all puppies refundable upon receipt of proof of neuter/spay. The most important requirement is a love of the animal and the ability to be able to appropriately provide the necessary love, medical care and food.
