Regular adoption fee is $50.00 for one cat. Possible additional fee if unusual circumstance such as emergency health care has been required. Adoption contract must be completed and approved. Vet references and personal references must be provided. If adoption does not work out, cat is to be returned to Kitty City. We are completely non-profit and all adoption fees or donations go to rescue of more animals.

I started as an individual adopter of homeless pets, many from high kill shelters on the "Urgent" list. Eventually I could no longer take in more of my own and I began to foster for other rescue groups. I am an active volunteer with the Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance and began acting as a foster to socialize rescued strays as well as pulling from shelters. It finally evolved into my own rescue, which is now Kitty City. It was necessary to be able to post listings for the available adoptable cats on online web sites. We did not get enough exposure from fliers and newspaper ads and all of the furr-babies at Kitty City deserve to find a forever home as soon as possible. My dream is to someday have a cat sanctuary.
