Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

The Greater Milwaukee, WI area. We can also send dogs via professional transport to Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York, Vermont.

We will try to accommodate just about anywhere if you are willing to wait for your new family member.

About Our Rescue Group:

Hoovers Hause is named after my Hoover, a yorkie that I loved dearly and lost years ago in a horrid accident. I swore that this fate would never happen to another person, EVER! I searched every shelter for days on end until I got that heart wrenching call that he was found dead on a very busy highway.
HHADR is based in Crenshaw, MS. One hour south of Memphis, TN and the community needs a LOT of education about spay/neuter and we strive to do that along with helping the hundreds of dogs that are dumped, lost, starved, abused or just plain abandoned in the Memphis area everyday. Our goal is to someday be able to drive just ONE mile and not see a dog running loose and fending for themselves.
Our second location is in Mukwonago, WI. ALL dogs travel to Mukwonago for adoption. We do not do local adoptions as there are WAY too many dogs that need homes already. We do a monthly adoption event at the Tractor Supply Company there and what ever dogs aren't lucky enough to find their forever home will stay in foster homes or at our WI rescue center. ALL dogs are with us until they are lucky enough to find their furever home!

Come Meet our Pets:

Dogs are available for a monthly "meet and greet" event at the Tractor Supply Company in Mukwonago. If you see a dog listed, you can call or text Andrea to set up a time to meet them. Not all dogs are at our WI rescue center. They all get completely vetted before traveling north. I drive them up once a month.

Our Adoption Process:

Please e-mail for the adoption application. Application are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and sometimes we get MANY applications for the same dog. Please give us a few days to contact you regarding the status of your application. If you haven't heard from us in 4-5 days, feel free to email to see if you were the lucky family to be chosen! Our adoption fee is based on the dog and what we have had to do to make him or her completely healthy for their new "forever" family. Our adoption fee is $375.00, regardless of the age or breed of the dog, as we believe ALL dogs are equal. We do have a "DOG OF THE MONTH" and they are $250.00.
If the dog travels to you via professional dog transport, that fee is in addition to the adoption fee, and is $125.00

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
