Dog adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog and you'll have a friend for life! Contact us, or contact another local humane society, animal shelter or SPCA.
Our dogs are mainly fostered in TN with loving families. We have many terrific
dogs looking for homes! All of them are completely vetted and neutered/spayed
(if age appropriate) and on heartworm protection. All of them come with complete
medical records. Their adoption fee of $450 covers their complete age
appropriate vetting and heartworm preventative as well as their transportation
to your area.
Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area. Due to this it
is not possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to
their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day no questions asked money back
guarantee and the dog can be rehomed or returned to us if things don't work out.
We try hard to get good matches in our homes so that everyone has a happy life
together! To date we have place hundreds of dogs and puppies in loving homes!
If you are serious about adopting a dog or puppy please go to our site at
http://www.poochesonthemove.net/homeward-bound-adoptables.html and you can
download an application or email us for one and we will send it. Once we
receive it will will call you for an interview within 48 hours.

Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
