Southland Collie Rescue - LA-South Bay Area
About Our Rescue Group
Southland Collie Rescue, Inc. (SCR), a non-profit corporation located in the Southern California area, coordinates for several Collie Rescues in the Southland. All of our Collie Rescues find homes for purebred Collies and, when possible, Collie mixes from shelters, from people who have taken in strays, and from owners who can no longer care for their Collie. We foster our rescued Collies in private homes throughout Los Angeles and adjacent counties.
Spread Holiday Cheer with E-Certificates from Petco! It's easy to give Southland Collie Rescue foster collies a gift that fits – spread holiday cheer by sending a gift certificate good for food, supplies or toys at PETCO.com.
Our Adoption Process
Adoptions ONLY in Southern California
Adoption Information
All of our collies are healthy, altered and current on their vaccinations prior to placement. An application and home visit are required prior to adoption. An adoption donation is requested to cover costs of rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing collies.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
