We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to helping our animal community. We are located in Clay county Fl and rescue animals from surrounding counties. We focus on saving dogs in high kill shelters and abandon dogs as well. We typically do not take owned animals.

About Our Rescue Group:

Fur Real Friends Animal Rescue is a 501 c3 non for profit dog rescue. All donations are tax deductable. We are very small army fighting to make a differance in lives of the abused, neglected, and un wanted dogs with in our community. Saving one dog will not change the world...but for the one dog who was saved...his world is fur ever changed!

Our Adoption Process:

To adopt one of our dogs we do require a adoption application to be completed by the adopter. Once thje completed application is returned to Fur Real Friends the adopter will be contacted to set up a meet and greet between all family members to include 4 legged family members. After the meet and greet the adopter will be allowed to adopt the dog if Fur Real Friends feels its the best fit for the dog. Our adoptions fees vary from $100-$300 depending on the breed of the dog.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
