Darling Pet Rescue will be closing its doors indefinitely. Thank you to all of the fosters, supporters, organizers, transporters - have helped over 700 animals to find better lives.

About Our Rescue Group:

At this point, Darling Pet Rescue is closed. We will be adopting out our current cats and kittens but will not be taking in any animals.

Come Meet our Pets:

We are committed to the current cats and kittens that we have in our rescue and even though we are closed for intake, we would like to adopt our existing cats. We hold fairs at Tabby and Jack's, at 6825 University Ave, Middleton. Please stay tuned for our next fair time. You could find your new best friend!

All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, FELV tested, FIV tested if over 6 months, and vaccinated appropriate to their age.

Our Adoption Process:

We are committed to finding the current cats and kittens in our shelter forever homes.

Our adoption process is personalized, as we realize every person and family is different. We have a simple adoption application, adoption contract, and spay/neuter contract (in the event a pet is not altered prior to adoption). We require home ownership or landlord approval, we allow front-declawing up until 6 months of age, and underscore veterinary care for the pet being adopted.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
