Animal Network of New England (ARNNE)

ARNNE is a registered 501 c (3) nonprofit all volunteer rescue group. Our shelter is staffed 365 days per year buy experienced dedicated volunteers who tend to the animas physical and social needs. In addition, we have many committed foster homes. ARNNE's foster program allows us to place many dogs awaiting forever homes in a home environment until their perfect family comes along. Our foster program also allows us to take in, and provide safe secure housing, for senior dogs and those with special needs.
We work with a network of shelters and rescue organizations throughout New England, all working together for the common good. We are also connected with several southern affiliates, and intake dogs from "high kill shelters" whenever we have the space available. We are a very productive and busy group. We are always in need of good folks to join our dynamic team.

Additional adoption info

ARNNE adoption counselors strive to assist each dog to find his/her fit for a "perfect forever home". Our Adoption counselors are also skilled in aiding individual's/family's who would like a new best friend to select a compatible match for their lifestyle.
Our process begins with filling out an online application. Applicants are normally contacted within the first 1-3 days to begin the process. The process will include a meet and greats with a dog/dogs, veterinary reference checks, and a visit with a possible "match" to the adopters home to meet and greet with all family members (human, feline, canine, etc). An adoption contract is signed at the time of adoption. We do require that if for any unforeseen reason an adopter can not keep the pet, he/she is returned to us. This insured that all of the animals we adopt out have a "safety net" in place.
The requested donation for adoptions are $295 for an adult dog, $395, for an puppy, & $95 for a cat. Senior dogs and dogs with special needs are determined based on case. Discounted donation is also advised for seniors citizens who would like to adopt a cat. All animals adopted out are vetted, Spayed /neutered, micro chipped, and up to date on all vaccines.
