Dog adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog and you'll have a friend for life! Contact us, or contact another local humane society, animal shelter or SPCA.
We have five passionate volunteers directors and a president, who are dedicated to the society. We all work very hard to achieve the following goals:
Our intent is not only to cover the cost of the rescued animals under Embrace a Discarded Animal Society's umbrella, but also to assist other respectful charitable rescue groups with the cost of spay and neuter.
As we grow financially and with individuals volunteering in our society, we wish to start educational programs in schools and to raise public awareness of the real life conditions of unwanted pets in North America
Feel free to contact us at your convenience so we can answer any of your questions or send you an adoption application.
If we establish suitability (that means that we feel that your home will be wonderful for the dog and that the dog will be a cherished family member), you will be allowed to meet the dog. If all goes well, we will transport the dog to your home, or, you will be able to pick up the dog from its foster family.
Prior to the dog being transferred to you, a legal adoption contract will be signed (must be 21 years or older).
The adoption fee is $375 and adopters will be responsible for the full payment.
All of our dogs must be indoor animals, to be cherished and loved pets only.
WE WILL NOT ALLOW OUR PETS TO BE CHAINED OR LEFT OUTSIDE ALONE AND UNATTENDED.
Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
