About Refuge Bell'Anima Rescue

Nous sommes un refuge qui fonctionne grâce à des familles d’accueil. Nous avons de très grandes idées. Nous rêvons de construire un jour un refuge pour tous les animaux abandonnés qui nous parviennent. Entre temps, nous travaillons avec des familles d’accueil dévouées qui s’engagent pour une durée indéterminée. Ces familles travaillent sans relâche à faire de l’exercice à nos belles âmes à leur enseigner la discipline, à leur donner de l’affection et à les socialiser afin d’en faire des compagnons bien équilibrés. Cela permet à l’animal de faire ressortir sa vraie personnalité grâce à la réadaptation, à de la patience et à de l’amour.
Nous travaillons également en étroite collaboration avec nos vétérinaires afin que toutes nos belles âmes aient un avenir en santé. Nous leur faisons faire un examen complet, nous les protégeons contre les maladies grâce aux vaccins de base et surtout nous stérilisons tous nos animaux ou le ferons lorsqu’ils seront assez âgés.
Notre équipe est composée de trois administratrices dévouées, de nos merveilleux bénévoles et de nos familles d’accueil. Chacun joue un rôle important qui est essentiel à notre bon fonctionnement et contribue à faire de Bell’Anima un organisme digne d’intérêt.

Bell’Anima (Italian for “Beautiful Soul”) is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and placing abandoned dogs and cats.
We are a foster based rescue with very big ideas. Our dream is to one day build a shelter for all of the abandoned animals that find their way to our rescue. In the meantime, we work with committed foster homes for an indefinite amount of time. These fosters work tirelessly in giving the Bell’Anima exercise, discipline, affection and socialization skills required to create a well balanced companion. This allows the animal to have their true character shine through rehabilitation, patience and love.
We also work closely with our veterinarians in order to provide all of our Bell'Anima's a healthy future. We provide them with a full veterinary check, protect them from illness with basic vaccines, and most importantly all of our animals are spayed or neutered or will be if not yet of age.
Our team consists of 3 dedicated directors, our wonderful volunteers and our foster families. All of whom are an important, crucial part of making Bell’Anima a working and worth while rescue.

Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.
What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
