Adopt

The Art of Paws

We are a small 501(c)(3) non-profit group that rescues dogs and pups from high kill shelters in Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana. We do this to reduce the number of dogs euthanized in shelters and spay and neuter all of our adoptable animals to lower the population that ends up in shelters every year. We specialize in Herding breeds and Special needs dogs, but are an all breed rescue.

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters fill out an application and email to us. We then check your references and do a phone interview. If you are approved we arrange a meet and greet and home visit At that time we will leave your new family member with you. All dogs and pups come started on heartworm prevention and flea and tick control. We also have a contract you will need to sign at the time of adoption.
