Animal Helper

We are a non-profit animal rescue group based out of New Orleans, LA. We help dogs and cats that are in need of a new home. We rescue them from the streets, bad situatons, kill shelters, etc., nurse them back to health, get them fully vet checked, spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, place them in foster homes for training, and then find them their forever homes!

Rescue FAQs

Greater New Orleans area (Metairie, Westbank, Northshore, Gulf Coast) but if you are out of the area, we can discuss an out of town adoption with you.

Additional adoption info

We require everyone to fill out an adoption application, pass a vet check, home visit, and meet and greet with each pet before adopting. Our fee is $150 per animal to cover vet, spay/neuter, shots, etc.
