About Our Rescue Group:

Delaware Valley Second Chance for Animals, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 charity. We are a dedicated group of volunteers, and have no physical location. Our focus is to give displaced, homeless, or owner surrendered animals a second chance to find a permanent home. The vast majority of our animals are rescued from over-crowded shelters where they are often in danger of being euthanized.

We are a true non-kill organization. We rescue cats no matter their situation. We rescue cats who have been neglected, malnourished, sick, and even cats who test positive for FIV/FeLV. Once rescued, all of our furry friends are placed in private foster homes throughout the Delaware Valley. While in foster care, we do our best to ensure that all of our adoptees get healthy and are well socialized, so you can concentrate on finding the ideal new addition to your family.

Come Meet our Pets:

PetSmart in Fairless Hills, PA noon-4pm every Saturday

Our Adoption Process:

Adoption Fee: $100.00 per cat.

Adoption fee includes: 3-1 shot and booster, rabies shot, flea/tick control treatment, dewormer and anti-parasite, and FIV/FeLV test (either they will be tested, their mother, or a sibling). Fill out our Adoption Form to apply for your cat today.

We try to get all cats spayed/neutered before they reach 5 months of age. If the cat you decide to adopt is not already spayed/neutered due to age, we will advise you on places where you can get low-cost spay/neuter.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
