About Our Rescue Group:

Arizona K-9 Rescue specializes in German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. These are the two primary breeds used in military and law enforcement service worldwide.

Training is the foundation to a successful bond between the human and canine species. As such, Arizona K-9 provides initial and continued training for all dogs in our program.

All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time. Adoption fees offset the high cost of veterinary care, food, boarding and numerous other expenses.

By adopting from “Arizona K-9, you become our partner in the rescue. Adopting a rescue dog saves two lives. The K-9 friend that you adopted and another that can be brought in by the space created. Open your heart and adopt today.

"Arizona K-9 Rescue" primarily obtains dogs from local "High Kill" shelters. We are often there last hope. Our adoptions have gone on become service dogs, sport dogs, title holders and of course cherished family pets and protectors.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
