Rescue FAQs

New Mexico House Rabbit Society is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to help rabbits who need homes in New Mexico, with a special focus on the Albuquerque area.

Additional adoption info

1. Review our adoption policies
2. complete the adoption application and email to bill@rabbit.org
3. A NMHRS volunteer will contact you after application approval
4. assemble supplies for your new rabbit companion
5. sign the adoption contract and pay the $75 fee.

The $75 fee pays for your rabbits spay or neuter, a years membership to House Rabbit Society, and a free wellness visit with a local rabbit veterinarian
