Rescue FAQs

Forgotten Horses Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit horse rescue located in Southern California founded in 2012. 100% of all donations go directly to help the horses. Mission: To rescue those horses that have been thrown away and forgotten, and give them the second chance that they so desperately need and deserve. Our goal is to "rescue, rehab and rehome" as many of these forgotten horses as possible! Our program, Ranch Dog Rescue, is for those horses' lost companions.
We are located in the Menifee area of Riverside County, California. Our affiliate program, Ranch Dog Rescue, serves the same area.
