Cat's Paw Rescue and Sanctuary rescues mostly cats that are facing imminent death in high-kill shelters. We are located in East Tennessee, in Maryville, in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. We focus our efforts primarily in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina. We also work with other rescues that serve in other states.

An adoption application must be filled out first. Vet references are required and will be checked. An interview will be scheduled and a home visit completed before adoption approval. Our adoption fees vary depending on the cat/kitten.

About Cat's Paw Rescue and Sanctuary
Cat's Paw Rescue and Sanctuary has been operating for many years, however, we just recently incorporated in October 2015. We rescue mostly cats that are facing imminent death in high-kill shelters. These animals can be shelter cats on death row or abandoned or neglected kitties. We work through fosters and transporters and are always looking for help in that area. Rescued cats are taken to our sanctuary to recover and receive any needed medical attention (including spay/neuter and vaccines) before finding them loving forever homes. Some kitties find a permanent home at the Sanctuary. If you are interested in helping, please send us a message or call.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
