We have a $150 Adoption Fee, A legally binding Adoption Agreement and an Adoption Application which must be completed. After we receive the application, we contact by phone for a personal interview and then a home check..
The process takes less than a week, sometimes 4 days.

About Valley Stream Cat Rescue Inc.
VSCR was founded as Trap/Spay/Neuter/Return. As we found many adoptable cats on the streets we started our adoption program of which we are very proud. We have saved so many lives in the past 21 years and we are a very small group all volunteers - no one gets paid for anything.
Our cats all get full medical including spay/neuter prior to adoption and are held in foster homes where we depend on donations to keep the cats fed and in litter as well as medical. With out donations would not have survived for the past 21 years and saved so many. Why do we do it you ask? Because we love all animals and cats seem to be the most abused and disposable pets. No animal deserves what our society does to the animals!
