Rescue FAQs

Based out of Regina, Saskatchewan, our rescue program is a non-breed specific dog rescue for stray, abandoned, abused and surrendered dogs. We are reliant on a network of compassionate volunteer foster guardians who open their homes to provide an environment where the dog can receive proper nutrition, behavior training, veterinary care and love until the right adoptive home is found.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in meeting or adopting one of our dogs you must complete an adoption application at http://www.thepackproject.ca/adoption-application.html

Once your application is submitted, you will receive confirmation that it was received and be notified via email in approx 48-72 hours where in line you are (please check you junk email box!). If you have not received an email after 72 hours, please contact us via email, social media or telephone (please select one).

Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis.

Once your application comes up, it will be forwarded to the foster home for review, a home visit will be arranged and references contacted if necessary. If you rent your home, we will require written (email) confirmation from your landlord that you are allowed to have the pet. The final step is signing the adoption contract!

Our adoption fees are $275 for adults dogs and $275 plus a refundable $100 spay/neuter deposit for puppies under 6 months. Proof of spay/neuter must be provided within one year of adoption for the return of the spay/neuter deposit.

All of our dogs receive a health check, necessary treatments recommended by our vet, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, microchip and 6 weeks of pet insurance. You will also receive an adoption package with valuable information and coupons from local businesses to help get you started with your new pet!
