Areas Rescue Me Pups serves
Rescue Me Pups is a 501c3 Rescue that aims to help dogs large and small. We aim mostly for larger and giant breeds as they are the ones most often passed by. Being that the rescue was started by 3 vet techs, we often take in dogs who have medical issues as we are familair with the medical field. We work with fosters all up and down the west coast, and have many rescue friends all over the us.

We do require all adopters to submit an application, home check and sign a contract. In order to receive an application we suggest that you send us an email. We will get back to you as soon as we can. All dogs are different and need different homes. Some dogs love kids, some do not. So the requirement for each dog is different based on what each dog needs. Our adoption fees range from 300-400 depending on the dog and its needs. All dogs go home up to date, dewormed, flea treated, altered, and microchipped. We also take care of alot of medical issues such as entropy, cherry eye, ect. So major medical issues are normally taken care of as well.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
