Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tyrone is a sleek and beautiful, 2- to 3-year-old, neutered male who seems to be mostly blind. He is a fun-loving little guy, maybe 42 lbs, who seems to see shapes and shadows, but does not make eye contact and will run right into a fence. It looks like progressive retinal atrophy, which happens gradually so dogs learn to cope as they gradually rely on their other senses. It would be a great help for him to get into a permanent home before he loses all of his sight. He seems happy and care-free, not afraid or tentative, despite his inability to see well.
An adoption fee may be required which helps cover some of the care and veterinary services provided, including spay for females, neuter for males, vaccinations, de-worming and heartworm testing when age appropriate.
The adoption process begins with an application, which is a tool the Franklin County Humane Society uses to make a good forever home match. PLEASE-- NO PHONE CALLS -- YOUR CALL CANNOT BE RETURNED.
