Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet girl is at Isle of Wight animal shelter - http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/VA236.html. We are looking for help for a sweet girl named Maggie or "Magpie" as she has come to be called. Maggie was found laying by one of the outbuildings by the shelter a couple of months ago and she was in bad shape. She was very emaciated and could hardly walk and appears to have just dropped where they found her. She is doing great now at a healthier 40 lbs. She is estimated to be 4 years old. Her face is naturally white. She is such a quiet, sweet, gentle girl and loves any attention offered. She has been out with many dogs in the runs including Beagles, Hounds, and mixes of all kinds and has done great. As you know, this time of year finds our shelter being over run with Hounds. Maggie is different because she does not seem to be a hunter. She would be fantastic with a family. She was a real trooper while recovering and is so special. The second photo shows her the day she was found and the first is now. She has come a long way. Maggie is up to date on shots. This rescue will complete any further medical needed on this dog if an adopter is found. We will spay and Heartworm test her. If she should need HW treatment, we will provide that at our cost. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SHOWING THIS GIRL A WONDERFUL REST OF HER LIFE, please contact Bev at 804-248-3042 or crazydoglady64@aol.com or contact IOW shelter directly: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/VA236.html. Thank you!!
The sun setting is just as beautiful as the sun rising....consider adopting a senior pet.
