Levi's Story...
Levi is a 5 year old Basset/Lab mix and weighs in at 55 lbs. How can anyone resist that face!?! He came from a high kill shelter and is so grateful to have a second chance at a FORever home. This sweet boy is FULL of love and he wants to be RIGHT with you. He is great with dogs, cats and kids. He currently shares his foster home with two other large breed male dogs. Levi is learning to walk on a leash and handles correction well. He enjoys riding in the car and basically being anywhere you are. If you can provide this precious boy with a loving, FORever home - please email us at He is neutered, current on his vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea prevention. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL but is available for adoption to your area.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families in the New England area. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.

Our Adoption Process...

Our dogs are mainly fostered in Tennessee and Alabama in one of our many experienced foster homes if one is available; if not, the dogs might be kept in boarding until adopted. We have many wonderful dogs looking for homes! All of our animals receive rabies vaccine, distemper/parvo vaccine, bordatella and spay/neuter (if age appropriate) and are on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. All of our dogs come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $450 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heartworm/flea preventative, as well as their transportation to your area.

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new owners weekly! Our transport service is certified through the USDA. We have a 14 day no questions asked money back guarantee and the dog can be returned to us if things don't work out. We try hard to get good matches in our homes so that everyone has a happy life together!

We currently volunteer for other rescues and can provide references from these rescues, previous adopters, and our veterinarians if requested. Email us at for more information and to fill out an application.
