I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Blackjack's Story...
Blackjack is a gorgeous, friendly boy looking for a home to call his own. He's about 18 months old and weighs 45 lbs. He is great with kids and other dogs. Even though he hasn't had formal training, he walks well on a leash. His foster skate boards to work with him!
An active person would really enjoy Blackjack's company on runs/walks, since he is a working breed dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blackjack, a Miami Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Miami, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
