Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Breed:Mini lop Size: About 4.5 pounds Color: This boy is a grayish, tannish, whitish boy. I have never seen his kind of coloring ,he's gorgeous! Approximate DOB: Guessing between about 1-2 Reason in rescue. Colter was rescued with a group of 9 other bunnies after his owner died, leaving them trapped and abandoned in a hutch in his backyard. The realtor selling the house contacted some bunny rescue people who took them in and got four of them to Judge's Park. If they hadn't been rescued, they would have gone to a livestock auction and almost certain death :/ Personality: Colter is a typical lop. Super friendly and snuggly. He gets scared abut being picked up, but I think it's only because he hasn't been handled too much in his old home. He's a very, very sweet boy who I think with a lot of TLC will be an awesome pet :) Ideal Home: Any home would be good for him! Friends: Colter is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen. Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (email for the application), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes his neuter, and first vet visit. **Please email if you are interested in adoption. We respond to all emails within 24 hours** Recommended Food: Unlimited timothy or grass hay (should be around 80% of their diet), Oxbow or Kaytee timothy pellets, about 1/4 cup a day,and 2-3 servings of veggies a day (slowly introduced), especially fresh greens like romaine, green leaf, dandelion, spring or baby mixes, etc. Bedding: Newspaper, Yesterday's News, Cellsorb, or Carefresh
