My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please help us save Patches!!! She has been surrendered to a an inner city shelter that is overflowing with dogs. Although the shelters intentions are good and they try hard to place their dogs many only have a day or a few at most before their time is up (these dogs are all in a life or death situation...especially the med-large breed dogs). Patches's owner surrendered her for he too is without a home but before he left her he took the time to give her such great reviews in hopes that it would help her chances of getting out alive. He clearly left behind a piece of his heart. Patches's outstanding personality, her owner's review, as well as 2 formal evaluations of which she passed with flying colors (one done by the shelter and one by us) have made her truly shine!!! Patches is great with people, other dogs and is said to even be well mannered around cats. She is housebroken, has good house manners but could use a little work on a leash (who could blame her for pulling a little to be away from the shelter). Overall she is truly outstanding!!!! Under the stress of being without the only owner she has ever known, being in a crowded shelter, in the holding area (in an attached cage that is too small for her to get comfortable), with so much noise and so many new smells... she remains calm, so warm and gentle, wagging her tail at new comers and giving gentle kisses for those that seek them. Please if you have space in your heart and home help us save patches!!! Apply today to foster or adopt today. Don't hesitate for it may soon be too late!

Patches is 1 1/2 years young, healthy, spayed, up tp date on her vaccines. microchipped and ready for home!!!
