Emily's Story...
Emily is our little sweetheart. We say that she is a Tabico (Tabby/Calico) kitty! Emily is a cuddly little lap kitty with such a great personality. She is very social and will greet you at the door, excited to see you home again. Emily likes to play with kitty toys and strings and loves to be brushed. She always seems to know when it is feeding time too. Emily would be happy in almost any home as long as they have a nice warm lap and room in their bed for her! She gets along with other kitties, dogs and children. This young girl just wants a family to love her furever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emily, a Rochester Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
