Marty - funloving's Story...
Marty is a 5 y/o male from Louisiana who found himself in the need for a new home. This guy has a lanky frame for a 14 inch beagle and weighs around 25 pounds. His soulful eyes are enough to break your heart. He has that classic hound dog look!

Marty was an outside dog in his early life, so has had to learn house manners. He is housebroken and has learned what is acceptable to chew. He will need plenty of chew bones or cow hooves around to keep him happy. Marty gets along well with the other beagles that share his home and has learned to play all those beagle games. His greatest love is human companionship. He thrives on the attention of his caregivers. He enjoys nothing more than a good cuddle with someone.

Marty will make some family a loyal, loving companion. Please give him a chance to be a part of your life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marty - funloving, a Houston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Houston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
