Magic's Story...
Meet Magic! Magic is a 9-month old kitty who was found outside as a stray in a terrible location. Magic is a young, sweet girl with quite the personality! She got the name "Magic" because her tail looks like a magic wand (all black with a only a white tip). She is very unique-looking, as her features are very defined and beautiful. Magic loves attention, she can't wait to be pet. As soon as you walk by her kennel, she runs to the door and brushes against it, looking for some love! Magic does well with other cats. She can't wait to find her forever home!

We spay/neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies and Distemper vaccines, deworming, de-fleaing and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday — Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. We’re also happy to set up weekend appointments.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magic, a Warwick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
