Cinder's Story...
My name is Cinder and I'm happy gal looking for a family to love. I get along with dogs and other cats, but I really love people the most! I just love to love you and I'll never let you forget it. Allow me to explain... not paying attention to me? I'll 'yell' at you. If that doesn't work I'll try to grab you... with minimal use of the claws of course. Or I might just climb on you... If ever you feel like you just want to be left alone & you walk away from me, it's cool... I'll follow you. It's just that important that I let you know that I love you so much!! So now that you know how awesome I am, y'all fill out that adoption application quickly. A sweet gal like me is sure to have loads of people wanting to take me home for cuddles!! Can't say as I'd blame 'em! My foster mommy says my happiness & love brightens any mood (even with the grumpy teenagers)!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cinder, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
