Ginger's Story...
Sweet Ginger is a 3 ½ lb, 2-year old Maltese/Yorkie (Morkie). She came from a Southern California shelter. She has been recently spayed, has a microchip, and her shots are current.

What this friendly little dog would like for Christmas is to find an adoptive family who would love her for the rest of her life. If you might be that caring person, please go to our website and submit an Adoption Application www.malteserescuecalifornia.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Covina Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Covina, or seeking a Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Covina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covina paves the way for another one to be saved.
